  • Our Scholarship is awarded annually in the amount of $2000.00.
  • Applicants must reside in Westmoreland or its bordering counties.
  • Applicants must have completed one year at an accredited College or University pursuing a 2 or 4 year degree in Botany, Horticulture, Forestry, Landscape Architecture or a related field;
  • Graduate students may also apply.

Jacquelynn is enrolled in the College of Agricultural Sciences at Penn State
University majoring in Plant Sciences

As a student she has been involved in independent research projects where
she has learned about greenhouse management and plant breeding.

She is an active member of the student farm club and horticulture club. During the
past three summers she has worked at Ridgeview Acres Farms and Flowers
in Stahlstown, PA.

Jacquelynn resides in Ligonier, Pa.

The Greensburg Garden Center Is a nonprofit organization which leases space in the Greensburg Garden & Civic Center building.

​​ The Greensburg Garden & Civic Center is managed by the Westmoreland Cultural Trust.
